I’m just updating my book, ‘The Expert Author’, and the heading ‘With proper planning, it really is simple’ says it all.
Most people are daunted with the idea of writing and publishing a book, but with the right help and the right planning, it’s really simple.
Yes it takes some time, and yes it takes commitment, but the payoff is huge. You’re propelled into the realm of ‘authorship’ and with that comes benefits well beyond the effort.
One of my clients, Tim Wareing – author of 3 books, says it all in his testimonial;
“In terms of what becoming an author has done for me, well it’s really made me an expert in my field. It has propelled me higher than anything I have ever done, and since publishing the book in Feb of 2010 – it’s been sold in over 18 different countries. It puts you in the forefront of your industry and it’s opened up interviews on the BBC radio, and got me newspaper articles. So in terms of my whole business, it’s just really strengthened who I am, and what I stand for.” ~ Tim Wareing, author of ‘Toddler Soccer’, ‘1 on 1 coaching’ and ‘The Secrets to Developing ELITE Youth Football Players’.
Another client of mine has attributed a deal worth over £25,000 because he wrote a book. The company who he was pitching to were so impressed by his book (and expertise, which was showcased in his publication) that they offered him the contract.
In fact, I would go as far to say that over 80% of my clients have achieved five figured successes through writing a book. It’s netted them big business because they have cleverly crafted compelling call to actions throughout their book, which in turn leads to more money being spent.
However, writing a book is not for everyone. It takes commitment (on average 12 to 18 weeks) and nerve. My latest client really needed help in quashing his fears over his writing (and it caused us a few delays) BUT once we looked at his book, we soon realised he had the foundations for something really rather good, and we worked on getting the writing spot on.
So, if you think you have an idea for a book – but don’t know where to begin, get in touch. A simple phone call will establish where you’re at, and we can get you on the path or ‘authorship’. You don’t have to do it alone, and actually with my coaching, and proper planning, your book will almost write itself!
